We prescribe only bioidentical hormones, such as testosterone, in both injectable and topical cream forms. Additionally, we will soon be offering bioidentical women's hormone replacement therapy.
In our experience, these are generally not necessary for optimized hormone balance. However, every patient is unique and will receive an individualized care plan tailored to their specific needs.
While we value every patient's right to receive optimized care, this service falls outside the scope of Valen Medical. Depending on your location, we may be able to assist you in finding a competent provider. Please feel free to call us; we're happy to discuss the matter further.
A compounding pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that creates customized medications to meet specific patient needs. This allows pharmacists to accommodate unique patient allergies, dosage requirements, or ingredient preferences that may not be available in commercially manufactured medications. Compounding pharmacies play a crucial role in providing personalized medicine solutions.
How do I get my labs drawn?
We will provide you with a lab slip to print and take to the lab. Once we receive your results, we will contact you to schedule a follow-up.
Your medications will be shipped directly to your home.
What happens after I pay my consultation fee?
Once your consultation fee is paid, our office will send you a lab slip. After your labs are drawn and reviewed by the provider, we will contact you to schedule your consultation. During the appointment, the provider will discuss your current medications, lifestyle, and symptoms, and together you’ll create a personalized treatment plan based on your lab results and symptoms.
If you choose to proceed with treatment, you will receive a consent form through your patient portal. Once the consent form is signed and payment is received, your medications will be ordered from one of our compounding pharmacies and shipped directly to you. To continue receiving medication, you will need to complete lab work at scheduled intervals.
How long will it take for me to receive my medications?
Some pharmacies may take 7-10 days to process the order before shipping. Once processed, medications are shipped via 2nd-day delivery.
